The experience of being away from the urban area in which one usually lives and works provides privileged conditions for thinking about the territory, the place and the community. By taking advantage of the artistic/authorial residency, located, in this case, in a place in Serra do Gerês, it enhances the activating distance that will absorb the surrounding evidence. It reflects on landscape, nature, collectivity and personal identity; the heritage typologies to be worked on and promoted are taken into account, revealing specificities and topics that are often invisible.
