Synopsis

Considering the scarcity of compositions or pre-conmpositions with improvisation available in the academy,
especially at a national level but alsoat an international level, support is urgently needed to fill this lack,
Wich will greatly help musicians, teachers and music students, to develop this forgotten activity and marginalized from music.
In fact, everyone talks about it and places it at the center of prgrams related to Creativity, but few explore it
and put it into practice in the classroom or even on the stage. It is due to the limited editorial offer,
the lack of material dedicated to this practiceand and the lack of information on how to do it, that Improvisation
has been forgotten or even negleted, especially if we compare it with other artistic practices.
This project aims to provide students and teatchers interested in musical improvisation with a set of tools and
models to use in the classroom or in group rehearsal situations. The examples presented here were tested and
constructed by the working group formed in the Musical Improvisation classes and a collective formed for this purpose
under the supervision of António Aguiar
