Cinema e Fotografia em Residência Artística: Vila do Conde

Cinema and Photography in Artistic Residency: Vila do Conde brings together the works developed within the artistic residency program of the Master's in Cinema and Photography at the School of Media Arts and Design of the Polytechnic Institute of Porto, held in 2023. The publication presents photography, documentary film, and fiction film projects created by students, resulting from a process of research, observation, and artistic creation deeply rooted in the territory and communities of Vila do Conde. The works reflect on memory, identity, social dynamics, cultural heritage, and the relationship between people, places, and landscape, giving voice to individual and collective stories. The collection highlights the articulation between artistic practice, critical reflection, and community involvement, constituting a significant record of contemporary academic production in the areas of cinema and photography.
