Intermediartes - Atas da 5ª Conferência Internacional em Media, Artes e Interação

Proceedings of the 5th International Conference on Media, Arts and Interaction (Intermediartes 2023), held between May 30 and June 2, 2023, at the School of Media Arts and Design (ESMAD) and the School of Music and Performing Arts (ESMAE) of the Polytechnic Institute of Porto. This publication brings together a selected set of short papers and artworks that explore interdisciplinary approaches in the fields of media, arts and interaction, under the theme "Utopia and Dystopia: Art, Artificialism and Intelligence". The works presented reflect on contemporary artistic and scientific practices, with a special focus on the relationships between technology, artificial intelligence, culture, heritage, interactivity and society. The work highlights the conceptual and methodological diversity of the contributions, promoting dialogue between academia, artists and the community, and constitutes an important record of the research and creations developed in the context of the conference.
