Images of the Imagined Reality. 20 Years (vols. A and B) is a commemorative publication marking two decades of the Images of the Imagined Reality cycle, dedicated to photography, cinema, multimedia, and media arts, organized around the School of Media Arts and Design of the Polytechnic of Porto and its academic and cultural networks. The work brings together institutional texts, theoretical essays, case studies, and historical records that document the themes, guests, partnerships, and transformations of this cycle over the last twenty years, highlighting the role of the image as a mediator of collective memory, artistic research, and social intervention in local and international contexts.
